I’ve got the berlingo as a company van,I’ve done 70000 in it and 2 MOTs it’s just been serviced today ant 100,000 and it’s never flackered. So I might go for the berlingo instead or if I could get this 1 cheap off the lease company will be good.I thought it was due a belt and pump but they said not until 113000.

All French motors are shite. I've got a Peugeot Partner, only reason is theres only a few manufacturers make small vans. Mines been well maintained, I've spent fooking loads on it but it pisses oil out but runs well lol.

Got a brand new Merc Citan at work, it's a rebadged Renault Kangoo ffs, whoever designed it wants sacking, no flat surfaces to put a brew, got to move your hands from 10 to 2 position to indicate, got to open the door to get stuff out the door pockets, stereo from the 90s, pull all the usb wires out when you put the handbrake on, had to top it up with oil 3 times in 15,00 miles,  I could go on ?.

Cheers, D.

I’ve got a Peugeot partner work van I hate French motors there not for me I like German build quality in my cars but the German build vans are so over priced like the t5s an caddy’s bloody expensive. Think the vw passat estate makes a good dog wagon.I had a mk4 golf 1.8t that I used as a dog waggon for a bit plenty of room to get two large Lurchers in the back of once back seats were dropped

Citroen be last one I’d get but if that’s what you fancy go for it, motors are like dogs you get good am bad in most types

It makes no odds mate I think they even stick a Mercedes badge on the same van, I sold one last year it was an alright little van, much better than the Nissan one I had though basically the same motor underneath, I’ve said it before there are no good or bad motors now your just lucky or unlucky in what you get, sensors just stop or they don’t ??

I bought a 15 year old Berlingo van for £1,000  with 115k on the clock, ran it for six years until it failed its MOT, by then it had almost 230k on the clock. In the time that I had it, apart from brakes shoes, cam belt and tyres all it needed was an alternator, clutch and front suspension linkages. THe only fault is that it was like Bambi on Ice off road.

I now have a Berlingo Multispace with 4WD. Five seats, enough room behind the back seats for my mole trapping tackle, almost 50mpg and goes like sand off a shovel. Took it out last week to look for some new fishing places and it took me all over the place, through mud, water, wet grass, uphill and down. Superb motor.

I’ve seen another yeti 4x4 just over £3000 so it’s looking good then the wife can keep my other yeti.

my son bought the yeti 4x4 only a month ago,175 brake horse power ,some yoke to go,and its got loads of room in the back,,my youngest drove a ford focus as his starter car and after driving his brothers yeti,he went and bought another yeti,i drive an avensis estate ,and its a grand all round family and dog bus ,but i think when you take the seats out of the yeti(2 minutes task) theres tons of room and way more accessible than my avensis ...im seriously thinking i might go down that road myself if i ever get back to work...image wouldnt be an issue for me ,if you want to look hip ,buy a sportscar lol

I know Skoda are now a different motor to what they were.

But to people of a certain vintage, the mere mention of "Skoda" has them howling with laughter and dreadging up old jokes about skips !

Cheers.

All they are is VW  when I got that they were calling it a grandads car but now I can’t get it back off her,so I’m going for the 4x4 one tomorrow and she isn’t swapping either. It’s the same colour and everything like the one I’ve got I’ve always like the look of them they just look abit like the first freelanders
