Oh yeah I know that mate. I wasn't even talking specifically about releasing birds. I'm talking about gamekeeping as a whole, essentially conservation. From what Wilf has said and what I've heard generally there's tons of room for improvement.

That seems to be the consensus. Yet there are gunclubs all over going out shooting still. Logic dictates then there's too much shooting and not enough keepering/conservation.

It might be down the pecking order but it doesn't change the fact that if you spend all ya time shooting and not enough time conserving you will only ever have f**k all to shoot.
