It is not a good idea to go over the 190. It does not shoot any further, just blows the seals.

190 bar of pressure is a safe working pressure for this type of rifle, anymore than 200 bar and you may damage the seals.

only charge to 200-210 for the extra version otherwise you get about 12 shots!!!!!!!!!

i have the s410 k in 22 and charge it upto 180 only, good for 70 shots no problem and havent seen the need to put it upto 190.

cheers lads yeh in the guide it says 190 and not to trust the gauge on the gun as it sometimes is a bit sticky

There was quite a good thread on airgun bbs somtime back and it was suggested that if you only charge to 160 (on the 177 carbine) you would get better consistency and still get up to 40 shots. Having tried it out i would tend to agree. I now never fill to the recommended 190!
