been living in a building site now for 3 weeks....kitchen ripped out plaster of all the downstairs rooms....plasters supposed to come 3 week ago....came friday for the first time....done two rooms...

Actually warmer than my house mate, I,m averaging 25 degrees just with the wood burner going can hit high 20s 30 if I put the rads on as well, takes a few days to get it warm but once it is it maintains the heat well, the heating hadn’t worked for 8 years but since I fixed it hardly ever use it, ??

You picking plenty of free wood up from somewhere or buying fuel for the burner?

I buy the odd bag of coal to keep it going overnight but just pick up a few branch’s during my walks which I chop up and burn through the daytime can’t see the point of burning money by buying bags of logs, the central heating is drip fed red diesel so costs very little to run if I need it, ??
