Lol I imagine you're consuming a lot of meat these days pal, have you had your cholesterol checked recently? I'm on low carb to kick some timber, long over due. In fairness the main thing with it is cutting the processed crap . I still have plenty of vegs with it, and eggs, dairy etc. I've not had my cholesterol checked but I don't trust anything the system tells us. I'd rather listen to Aussie Barbara. So I don't worry about my cholesterol.

However it’s breaking up when I to try take it off the tray, so maybe a thicker mix or maybe place between sheets and turn while cooking. But the taste is there. Try adding a bit of rice or corn flour (not enough to make it a bread though) and kneading it thoroughly to release the gluten into the mix. The mrs makes tortillas with two ingredients, maize/corn flour and water. Puts them in a frying pan with no oil then gives them a light toasting over the open gas flame on the hob…. Lush with any filling, personally beef tongue is my go to with a chopped tomatoes, onion, fresh coriander and chilies and lime juice salsa (pico de gallo)

jok 3,399
I’m busy putting together some ‘Haggis, Neep and potato’ pies. Little twist with the haggis. Onion, garlic and basil done in butter. I tasted and reckon it’s spot on. I’ve used proper turnip. It’s the presentation but I’m struggling with. Should they be layered or otherwise? At the end of the day it will taste the same. Jok..
