Same here, in the past. I could easily do half a tiger loaf of bread, with welsh salted butter on, and a tin of beans. Edited November 30, 2024 by shaaark
jok 3,269
Well did I ever drop a bollock. No pics cause no evidence. In my last post, in the background was venison ready for the next batch of pasties. Nicely diced and ready. Now the lovely one says do not put the slow cooker on in the kitchen cause she don’t like stinking the place out. So, out to the garage I go and get the thing going. Return to kitchen and lo and behold a spaniel licking his lips. Little git had upwards of 1 kilo in a matter of seconds. Ah well. My loss. Jok.

I,m the same , loved bread. Only a treat now again with burgers. As it doesn't agree with me. And I switched rice to cauliflower rice, which isn't too bad when mixed with a chilli or a ruby murry. It's a great healthy alternative to carbs. Give it try , I much prefer it too cous cous

Yeah, I do a lot of it the day before, they’ll be expecting 3 courses so preparation is the key, this isn’t my first rodeo ( lol )
