Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

I went to a really nice steak place and had a  chateaubriand steak,creamed spinach,beef dripping fries and tunworth mash,and crab on sourdough and salad for starters,superb meal,great location.

Better than goats testicles or sheeps brains in the Khyber badlands…..but not quite as entertaining for an after dinner discussion over the port and cigars .

Ah well, we all grow old and settle down. LOL !

I have had a week that would curl most peoples toes and make them break into a sweat,and I have a nice mountain trek and a few other things lined up,I am still in my 50’s Charts aint ready to pop my clogs just yet lol.

Few from this week 

sea bass, asparagus and new potatoes with leek

home made chicken Kiev with garlic and thyme roast new potatoes 

chicken and chorizo pasta with garlic bread 

and the usual roast beef dinner today 

I need to work on my presentation but everything tasted spot on

Only need to worry about presentation if you’re selling it mate 👍. As long as it tastes good … Tiz a winner

I had steak with pepper sauce yesterday...bought a kilo of rump from morrisons yesterday....the Mrs had about 300 gram ....I had the rest lol

Stegt Flaesk............with Jersey spuds loads of fresh mint and butter and parsely sauce

read somewhere yer average Scandi' person eats 70kilo of pork/year.....they also love their Ligonberry and Cranberry....

i made a Ligonberry baste for the pork........was supreme
