I din't know what you would call this is like a Chicken Pie but with like Dauphinoise potatoes instead of pastry.

We have a dish up here known as “panackelty” or “tatey pot”.

Basically a layer of meat, usually corned beef,  Lamb lap or belly pork, covered with a layer of sliced potatoes and slow cooked in the oven.

No reason that chicken couldn’t be used instead of the other meats.

My mums from the north east we had panackekty once a week growing up but we had it with corned beef
