Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

Slow cooked shoulder of a sika stag. Shredded the meat and reduced the liquid into a bbq sauce and mixed the meat back in.

Genuinely feel that this is the equal of a pork or beef based equivalent. Curious to see how roe or fallow compares. Previous attempts were to a different recipe...

I've got one mate, paid £70 in the local farm shop, the butcher demonstrated it to me and I was sold..

They are brilliant... we've had a couple of big bits of rolled sirloin recently, £80 a joint so worth it to make sure its cooked perfectly..imo

Sounds good I’ve a couple of temperature probes that fit into the smoker but it would be nice to see rare medium rare etc.
