chartpolski 23,523
Ate him yesterday, Hardest, meanest bird Ive ever seen. He won three matches but lost an eye and was going to be knacked, but I took pity on him and gave him a home in a big run with a young hen for company, but he got more and more "manny" and vicious and almost had my face when I bent down to collect the eggs. Few hours in the slow cooker with onions, garlic, chilli's, and soy sauce, and he was supprisingly tasty and tender ! I like to think he wasn't wasted ! Cheers. 10

Jonjon79 13,358
Smoked mackerel given 10 minutes in a foil parcel with olive oil, butter, tomatoes, samphire and a little sugar. I only tried the samphire because I've seen it on here - it was nice
