Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Bread and cheese today,I love this place, used to store wine and salt from the 1700's.Mrs had homemade pork pie.It used to be a bit dodgy, handbag thieves and pickpockets as its always got tourists in and its dimly lit,the staff member told me a bag was stolen a month ago from a tourist who was due to fly home that night and had her passport in the bag, fagin is alive and well in London still.

Samuel pepys used to live right above the cellars, loads of Americans eat there as Benjamin Franklin lived a few streets over and they all get their pics taken outside his old abode, and they even have olives to accompany the cheese and pickles.

I took a few spare pheasants to a friend yesterday . Her culinary skills have been honed in some pretty high  places .

Any way ,while l watched she surgically dismantled a bird and flipped a fillet onto the centre of a large plate. With the words" There you go. A lettuce leaf and a blob of sauce . £54.99"

I sent her the picture as a joke .

The thing is,in some establishments, she is correct, maybe even underselling it.
