My missus has already put forward the menu, she wants leek and potato soup with Parmesan and garlic croutons, choice of chicken or beef, must come with creamed cabbage, the rest of the veg is up to me, then cake and custard, but has to be a choice between vanilla and lemon ( lol ) I’d of gone, chicken liver pate, venison, Bakewell tart, then some good cheese, but they are people of simple tastes 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I thought the 'marching on together' was a nice reference to us in the family staying close and sticking together after losing my mum a while ago.
