Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

I've heard that dining with you is a wonderful experience.  Just as long as you like , well peppered sprouts , a sore arse , and , false teeth marks on the back of your neck 😇.

Well something you guys don’t seem to bother with. Good old fashioned faggots. It must be one of our oldest dishes. I do my own herb mix which goes down well with the locals. Not only that but apple pies with my own pastry. Very nice guys.jok.

love your cottage pies....my ones always seem to be rubbish so i stopped doing them...its the fillingi cant get right

Ditch I use good mince from the butcher and I always save left over gravy from a roast. I think good gravy really makes the difference. A few precooked cubed carrots and swede some fried off diced onions, fried chopped garlic and 3 or 4 chopped mushrooms.

Thats about it mate if thats any help.

I like to scuff the top of the spuds up put in on high heat to get crispy top then lower the heat.

Hope this is a help.

Cheers Arry

Jok those ffaggots look brilliant! During my rugby playing days, post match food in many Welsh rugby clubs, would be ffaggots, peas, gravy and potato's served in a bowl and eaten with a spoon!
