Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Bury black puds are decent or used to be.. We used to get them on Burnley market we me father as a nipper. Laced in vinegar, put me off it for life but still like a black pud

Nothing else to do today because of the rain so we’ve gone for beef again, gravy was the best bit, beef stock, veg stock, tomatoes, carrot, shallots, fresh thyme and black pepper

proper wholesome grub....followed by an hour on the sofa..:laugh:

i always split the duties when my mrs did the cooking.......she cooked it and i slept it off
