Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

then why does it not all taste better than we can do at home?

Spot on statement that mate.

It really pisses me off if I have a steak when out a pub/restaurant and  ffs call yourself a chef I could do better that that.

Cheers Arry

Bakerboy you need a mice cup of tea with them. Look nearly as good as my Mamgu's.

My mother made amazing Welsh cakes, sadly she's too old to cook now

You're scoffing a lot of carbs there, mate!!  🤓

Don't think I'm being the 'carb police' here, just saying  lol.

Today I had 2 crumpets with lime marmalade on, for breakfast.

Then a bacon, mushroom and cheese toastie about 2 hours later.

Then a Wiltshire cured ham gratin for lunch  from aldi, very nice.

Had a king prawn bhuna, with WHITE basmati rice and a garlic and coriander naan bread, at tea time.

And will have a (large) snack about 9 ish.  Lol
