Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

that will make a superb base for any meal you wish to make.............thats doing stuff the old way ......takes a bit of time ..but is worth it...............

does anyone on here still eat marrow....the victorians were buggers for it....theyhad special silver marrow scopes ...

I don't eat it by its self but there was load in them bones I got out into the stock. Pushed every thing I could through a flour sieve.

Used to use the back of a tea spoon as a kid to pick the marrow out of the bone.. last had it in a fancy restaurant mad how our "poor mans" food becomes trendy!

like kippers and milts and roes and buckle..pigs chaps..bloaters......all bloody expensive now...its" in" food
