Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Morrisons had them Bass fillets on offer 6 for £10

I don't know if anybody is interested but easy way to cook them with out stinking the house out pan frying. Bake them in the oven.

preheat a Fan oven 200 degrees,  put a piece of baking parchment on a baking tray I spread a tiny bit of oil on it. Then put the Bass fillets flesh side down brush oil on the skin and bake for just 7 minutes, come out perfect every time.

Cheers Arry

Yes mate, Morrisons Bass or Iceland is nice too. I cook rainbow trout like that (wife) and put slices of lemon on it.

Try right in close in the evenings or first light. I used to troll a Red Gill no weight along Paignton with and old clinker boat that had a one and a half Stuart turner engine in it. I would run parallel to the beach sometimes the prop would be leaving a line of sand I was that close in and I would find them other times out by the 5 knot buoys. Used to cream them sometimes lot of line out mind great fun.
