Bake them in the oven. preheat a Fan oven 200 degrees, put a piece of baking parchment on a baking tray I spread a tiny bit of oil on it. Cheers Arry It was mental in June mate, we had over 30 in an hour or so one trip... out of 4 trips had around 70 bass.. nothing huge, most around 2 - 3lb but a good few around 4lb or so... been out a few times since but can't find them..dolphins everywhere though... had around 30 big mackerel the other night... I used to troll a Red Gill no weight along Paignton with and old clinker boat that had a one and a half Stuart turner engine in it. I would run parallel to the beach sometimes the prop would be leaving a line of sand I was that close in and I would find them other times out by the 5 knot buoys.
