You’ve been frequenting the wrong gaffs mate there’s a lot of wannabe Pie & Mash shops that just don’t cut it but if you go to a proper one it’s a heavenly experience

me and the mrs had it several years ago in the menzies pie shop on the south of London bridge...

i thought the same as you....but i confess to putting a lot of butter in our mash at home and a bit of milk or cream....the french put as much butter in as mash when they make it...and to fair its bloody lovely ..

i will say this though...we paid around £7 for both of us at the time...which was bloody cheap when you think about it ...
