Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

Chicken mushroom and bacon with creamy shit. And funky potatoes, peas, kale and asperagus.

Tesco meal for 2, £10. Got profiteroles and 4 bottles of peroni included. I added the pasta myself cos I'm a master in the kitchen.

Mumsnet stuff I know but does anyone have their own bread maker? I am thinking of getting one to make pandesal. Anyone?

I don't know what pandesal is but, the mother in law has a bread maker - what she knocks up is nice but it is quite dense and heavy.

The missus sometimes makes bread properly (needing and proving) - it's more messing about but it does turn out better - more light and fluffy.

I reckon this is one of the things where you can't really improve on the old ways.
