Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

i did look into it after i seen it on tv for the first time a while ago, i know theyre basically a savoury scone. your post just reminded me of that meme

I’ve tried em in Florida they are scone like but I’d rather bacon n eggs corned beef hash chaser ?   gritz out ther fkn bird food ain’t a patch on ready brek n fredo the frogs

Yeah, I wish those septics would speak proper England!

Ive had "biscuits and gravy" over there, and the "biscuits" are more like scones. They call biscuits "cookies".

And don't get me started on crisps, which they call "chips" !

And the cretins call chips "fries" !

As some one once said; "two countries divided by a common language" !
