Hi I’ve been looking for ages now does anyone have or knows any one Who is breeding or planning to breed   deerhound/greyhound x collie/greyhound pups or even 1st cross collie/grey pups

Is bill Doherty still breeding and 2orking deerhound greyhounds and lurchers? I enjoyed reading his book many moons ago.

My mate was wanting me to put his deerhound first cross over my collie greyhound bitch in a couple of years but I think the pups will be far too big for what I want now as his dogs 31 to the shoulder

The Merle I think makes it, my opinion looks different, maybe it’s the merle which brings the height down , but again I’m just hoping to find the smaller runt which hopefully will make 25tts would be perfect for me

I’ve just been talking to a mate I haven’t seen for years has some 1stx deerhound greyhounds,he has just lined his bitch with a whippet so should be some nice handy little dogs there mate if any good to you.He does a bit with them and doing the job.

Is your mate from Essex way and keeps horses

I got onto my mate that had bigland non ped whippets he lined he's dog that's out of black staffs bitch and bigland lad to a first x deerhound/greyhound, this is the pair thinking of getting one for my son to knock about with
