I would say there are quite a few Russel’s, pats and x bred terriers out there which would make a great x with a whippet, grey or grew.

I agree, you just don't see them available. always thought a whippet x fell, or whippet x Russell would be spot on for I need.

Old Bert gripton did russel x whippet and I’ve seen a gang of whippet x patts ratting but that’s about it , no doubt there more  like it out there but it wouldnt be my type

true terriers tend to yap, but I have had beddywhippets yap and beddywhippets that have been mute. heard some say yapping can come from the Whippet but wouldn't know never had a pure whippet yet.

I probably get shot down but I find as a terrier beddys are maybe the quietest   I’ve never owned a pure whippet either Fred but I believe they av been known to yip a bit , not that it matters really to me as I would never go where I shouldn’t be like them rough beer drinking council eastate nasty people

I know what you mean, funnily enough both my next door neighbours either side live on a council estate.

Yeah I think would make good x but think you would lose size , have run beddy types for good bit now we found the 3/8 beddy 5/8 greyhound suits us better my bitch handy dog 23tts light framed but she handles job , pals dog over 26tts big strong dog fawn dog blue bitch
