I think I would prefere to get the right bitch and either use bud or duke. Wyh don't u tek lass off your cousin use bud or Duke or find another stud no ones gone give you a good bitch 1 Quote Link to post

I ain't got time for pups. I wanted to know if someone wants to breed from a good bitch. I dont want to breed from lass because shes not a coursing bitch or even got the speed or acceleration for the bug rabbits. Ideally I want a pup from a bitch with more acceleration and top end speed. Andrewreynoldshunting 737
My cousin will happily have the pups at his. But hes not ready to take on a pup. He would like to have pups out of her though. He wants me to have a pup so he can watch how they turn out but I want something else. Looking ahead he would like to know shes got some pups about he could potentially have a pup from in the future. Quote Link to post

My mates got a black bitch that's very lightly built which I like. That's one of the reasons I'm not a big fan of using Bud. Hes a heavy boned dog. The bitch is a Lovely animal tbh however hes not done a great deal with her though so I doubt he even bother breeding. That's the problem. Potentially loads of dogs will be what I require but its finding one that's had regular work. Heres a video of the bitch. Only a year old in the video. Shes about 3 now. 1 Quote Link to post

white van man 3,285
I have a saluki collie grew mate. Honestly think it’s how you bring them up if you want them to do a bit of everything. He lamps, ferrets and isn’t too bad at hunting the hills either. 5 Quote Link to post

Kalibrgun 930
Think your pissing in the wind if you've had a real good dog that stood out to you you'll never replicate or replace it I've been there and done it myself . I wouldn't be too worried about the lightly built bitch and bigger boned dog you'll get a nice in between yeah some may be bigger than others but in general they'll even out. 1 Quote Link to post

But he had to be pts. Took all deer except red and fallow stags. Regularly caught hares on lamp. My pup died at 16 weeks. Nipper died when he was 3 years to cancer. He was doi g well too. I had him back from a lad. He injured his shoulder. But the following season he was doing well. Best night he caught 18 rabbits and 3 hares. One bitch I lost contact with owner. Other bitch turned out well from what I heard. The other bitch was decent too. Vid of her Quote Link to post

Hes nice mate but again hes abit heavy for what I'm after. Looks ideal for rabbiting with on the hills.Totally agree with you though. It is how you bring them on. But I just want a good foundation to work from. I do want a dog to be capable of running daytime. I'm not after a match dog but a dog that will catch daytime regular. On small and large fields. Plenty of acceleration to ferret and lamp with. But needs some brains too. Quote Link to post
