AJP 1
hi is there anyone running anything with Australian cattle dog in the mix? if so how have they turned out? Quote Link to post
fielder 18
I had an Australian Cattle Dog crossed with a small lurcher. She was incredibly loyal and easily trained. Was too slow for anything except lamping, but was the best companion dog I ever had. 3 Quote Link to post
bird 9,868
well a bloke on here done very well with this type x , for lamping and mooching rabbits, suppose if you wanted quicker type dog , maybe cattle dog x grey x whippet x grey , or back to coursing type dog. my self i not keen on the herding type xs, but i reckon the acdx would be a better x than the border or kelpie , but thats just me other people might think different lol 2 Quote Link to post

dillydog 8,463
Wishing I'd of had one now, there's not enough game on the ground to justify one but it's getting time to have another, time waits for no man..........or dog 3 Quote Link to post
dillydog 8,463
Her sire is a proper all rounder, whether it's sitting on a gun peg, picking up, being in the beating line or working with the terriers and lamp. His downfall is his pace, he's only got one gear, but then he was never going to be a speed merchant. He still enjoys what he does and he's brilliant company whether it's out in the field or in the house. 9 Quote Link to post
