sussex 5,802
Common down here in East Sussex , loads of them ,We never shot a lot of them because they always gave there mates away , you could look up through our woods in winter and pick out the white ones even when they were laying down , when you first see them they looked like white plastic sacks , only when you glassed them you realised it was the white flank of the deer , and where they were their mates would be perfectly camouflaged ... This buck got a free ticket because the farmers wife liked him because he used to come around the farm buildings , in reality I would have culled him years before , poor head and not even a decent body weight I ended up shooting him after he had a run in with a motor vehicle and came of a poor second .
