Tried acupuncture, tiger balm, hot baths, heat pads, freeze sprays, tramadol, diazapam, deep medical  massages , had 6 months of physio after my accident.... Acupuncture worked for a few months, tramadol and diazapam are the only things that work for me personally. I've been in constant pain for the last 7 years... Just got to get on with it.. Don't help I'm lifting kerbs, slabs, block paving most days... Had to slow down on the terrier work... As I can't dig both days on a weekend and last the week punching out the work without medication... Got to be careful then though driving to work and operating plant?DSC_1419.JPG.4b7264f1c69789ac89d985bb4f3a56aa.JPG

Is there a certain river right next to that d c? Lol

Theres also medical proof that long term use of ibuprofen and quite a few different anti inflammatories is really bad for you.Really bad for your stomoch and digestive system.

Fcuk me we're all a bunch of invalids on here. ?

Last time mine went I saw a physio and he gave me a number of stretches to do.

The bridge, cat-cow, press-up with hips and legs on the floor.

I don't know if they actually work or if it's just time but it eventually subsides.

I was putting in some proper graft before Chrimbo, lifting, digging, barrowing, etc and that's usually a trigger point. Thankfully I only suffered minimal pain so touching wood I'm on the right path.

I haven't done none of these stretches since before the holidays mind, it will probably go again next time I have to do some graft. ?

Bird    Ray will sort you out

Well, one thing I've done this. Last 6 years, is lots of ( hamstrings)  stretching and deff helps your lower back. I've been doing them for my  worn cartlige in my right knee, and they helped as well, I do 1/2 every day, I take 2 tramerdol as well a day, they help as well. But those who know me, know  that my back prob never stopped me working a dog day/night, I could put a good night in  2-3 hours walking. But what as stopped me now, is my right knee, cartlige doesn't repair it self once is fooked that's it, only thing is to have  Op on it, but that's the last thing I want at my time in life with hospitals (virus), but carnt complane really I've had 30 odd years with lurchers, every thing comes to an end eventually ?

Suffered for over 15years now which seems to be part and parcel of being a groundworker.Biggest piece of advice I could give is find a really good back specialist and not just the cheapest.Ive used a few over the years that charge 40quid for a couple of cracks and crunches and you're out the door before I found the one Ive been with for the last 6years.

True that buddy I don't normally suffer just odd twinge but the funny thing is I think I did it by slipping slightly on some old stone flags it's the only thing I can think of
