forest of dean redneck 11,535
Always amazing how quickly a carcass can go . How do the owners get on though as thought dead stock had to be lifted ASAP?

First it was the buzzards, then gulls, crows and magpies, a fox, more buzzards and finally a fox took it early hours . Completely gone.

Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Lovely pic mate .Round here it’s more likely to be red tails as they seem to boss the buzzards about .We have a twitcher local who reckons we had 43 pairs nesting within 10 miles of our village .Good to see them after such a long absence but that’s a lot of carrion every day .Three on a carcass quite unusual I’d say . No. Only surprised to see no badgers in this series of pics. 8 minutes ago, foxdropper said: Lovely pic mate .Round here it’s more likely to be red tails as they seem to boss the buzzards about .We have a twitcher local who reckons we had 43 pairs nesting within 10 miles of our village .Good to see them after such a long absence but that’s a lot of carrion every day .Three on a carcass quite unusual I’d say . Not as unusual as 4.

When the buzzards had a break from eating, there were magpies, crows, seagulls and 3 separate foxes having a go. This one seems to have a healed wound on his shoulder. This one seemed to have an odd colouration on his flank. (It's the same in a dozen or so pics.) And this one has neither. This is nothing to do with that but I just saw it and thought it looked good. walshie 2,804
I only shoot foxes round here in lambing season if they're getting too close. As you can see they do me a favour most of the time.
