I need to shred  this lot ! it's holly around 40 mill  what size  machine do i need  , i have been told  that the oily leaves will clog up the smaller types ?

I just go over mine with the lawn mower, shreds it all and collects it up then either put it in the compost or the bin

Holly burns lovely mate .Get yourself a metal 45 gal drum .Put holes in the bottom with a pick axe and burn bit  by bit .Not enough to shred tbh but too much to get in a green bin .

You didn’t say cuttings ya muppet you just said shredding the holly,so use ya thick head and do what you think instead of asking other folk what they would do.If it was me I would of weed killered it then raked it up and burned it,turn it over and weed it simples you need to learn how to do horticulture then ya can smoke ya shit.
