zap 4 Posted January 12, 2008 Report Share Posted January 12, 2008 ok folks what virus protection have you installed on your computers and are the free ones as good ? hey honesty the best policy i was flicking through some adult stuff and pages started apearing all over my computer every time i tried to close one another popped up anyway heard the misses coming up the stairs so i pushed the button and switched the computer of ,then when i restarted it i was getting error messages think i have a virus Quote Link to post Share on other sites

ade33uk 86 Posted January 12, 2008 Report Share Posted January 12, 2008 are you getting the messages saying you have an error and need to download something to fix it or one telling you to download something so no one can see which sites you been looking at . these are spyware . as said before get spybot search and destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html will sort it out in no time but they will be back next time you browse some of the artistic sites . have you got a pop up blocker working info here how to set it up http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/w...pupblocker.mspx wont stop everything but will help . avg is the anti virus software im using .
