Anyone Ever Use Anything Like This

Just came across this on a youtube video. Looks handy, especially for tight spots. Anyone see or use anything like this, or do you see it as just more weight to carry around?

Looks like it could be a handy tool to shovel up loose muck, that's all it's really good for tbh but like has been said things shouldn't get that tight.

A lot of the Europeans use shovel like that I found they came into there own for back filling as you can stand in the dig and just drag the loose spoil towards yourself

Just make sure you get out of any deep earth's first before you backfill yourself upto t'eyeballs.

It was being used to shift soil in a narrow spot. No work on the handle. Just kick it in at the base and shift soil. Id say most their ground would be dry peaty stuff. I can think of a few times i could have done with something like that.
