gnipper 6,543
I've got a ham to do here and I'm going to give it a go in the slow cooker with coke or dr pepper.

Heard that's a nice way to cook it. Gives a nice flavour to the ham Atb j

I done it in coke last year but not for Xmas dinner about a month before to try it , if you like a bit of sweetness it's tasty enough but the missus didn't like it
gnipper 6,543
I might cut it in half and try it two ways just in case.

We used to-do the Turkey thing but now we have smaller joints of beef, lamb, gammon and chicken. everyone gets what they want and we're not eating the same stuff for a week and then down to Turkey bloody curry or into the dog. we cooked a BIG gammon joint today. This was got in thinking we would have some family here over Christmas but that's changed so were here on our own so it's gammon for the next week. Still we like it so there's no problem with that.
