Yeah?

All the engineering places round her are busy. I work around a few and I have a make who is looking for machine staff....i don't know the in and outs though. Are they called cnc machines or something? I do pest control around a few engineering type places and all have full order books....i understand its different everywhere though so not arguing. Perhaps they could strip in a local working mens club (once they open of course)

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-54369693 Just one firm in the area the two lads at work worked at different places similar to forgemasters although they are confident it will pick back up but not any time soon.

This is just part of what our masonic group collected.

This was distributed via a local church that is well organised so I presume it was much more targeted in the people it helped....

I don't want to suggest food bank food isn't needed or helpful or that people shouldn't support them.....i just want to make that clear!!!!!

This is just the beginning. Government handouts won’t last forever. Recessions don’t mean everyone is suddenly out of work, I’ve never been out of work in any financial downturn, that doesn’t mean it ain’t happened. There are always winners & losers no matter how bad it gets....but watch out for infrastructure cutbacks in the long term.

It's like the Thatcher year's were the North was devastated by the destruction of traditional industries and high unemployment wile the South flourished only this time all the country will feel the repercussions of this virus  imho.

Think the Tories' will be a bit softer on the North this time as they won't want to loose some of them traditional labour heartlands they gained at the last GE.
