While out with the dogs in the countryside.they don't care what you are wearing lol.

What I have found quite strange is nearly every paddy I've worked with muck shifting away.have all had suits on.no tie just suit and white shirt..and wellies or rigger boots..

Irish pub my old man always drank in, The Green Gables, rough old shit hole, all the Irish lads would be sat in there straight off the roads in suits covered in tarmac! Lol

Something about being around the sea that makes you feel alive, I'd struggle to live too far away from it mate...

We were down perranporth a few years back.just to pass the runway and down the hill to the little cove..2 old men brothers must of been at least 70yrs old.

I got talking to them and they said everyday they swim out to that lump of rock about a mile away and back.that blew me away a bit.fair play to them..

The “blackout” was government imposed so that German bombers couldn’t target city’s and towns........can you imagine that today ?

”I’m not turning my lights off, it’s a human right and it’s dangerous in the dark”

Wake up next morning to the whole town levelled !

Hows that for a bit of Dunkirk spirit !

Watching as an Englishman from afar, it’s been f***ing Embarrassing and sad in equal measure !

Gaffs f****d !

Give over, your really full of it at times, just because you Mr anti government went straight into panic mode and bent over and told everyone else to do the same and get ready for whatever they want to shove up it, now your trying to defend this position with clap trap like Dunkirk spirit. At the start of all this you were agreeing with someone for screaming at a woman who got a bit too close in a shop, is that how the blokes on Dunkirk carried themselves you reckon then? No I think the carry on head down bunch are the ones with the old fashioned British fighting spirit and it's the let's lock ourselves away and hide for the next 2 years, easily lead believe what your told not what you see mob that's f****d the country eh.

i thought athena posters were more a 70s thing

That poster of the man holding the baby was a big thing in the 90s mate, all the girls loved it..lol

Athena had a big store up town, just posters, all early to mid 90s, I was getting them through my old man (off a mate..lol) selling them in school...

Always had something going on back then, knock off clothes, used to go to a place in Plymouth, all rough flats, but hers had chandeliers and shag pile carpet, would go in a back room.and there was bag fulls of clothes, burberry, Tommy hilfigier, Calvin Klein etc...I had to pick through it for what I thought would sale, the old man would buy it, I'd sale it and split the profits...lol

Also up to London a couple of times, getting bomber jackets (the ones with the orange liner..??)...lol

Like I say always something going on, nearly 30 years ago now...
