You being in Spain just made me think of a nice paella, that would suit me down to the ground on Christmas Day

Yep, I do nearly all the cooking in my house.

One of my brothers is the same, my old man could cook too.

All the men in my family are decent cooks, it’s because we are greedy b*****ds ! Lol

For me it's got to be MEAT, pigs in blankets, sprouts , roast carrots/parsnips/spuds , gravy , peas/corn and stuffing. Not fussed on pudding kids probably want ice-cream, missus death by chocolate or something, got boxing day cold cuts and cheese and all that the day after boxing day this year, best meal of the year gorging on pickles butter ham etc, I enjoy cooking hams

Same, never have desserts. Mrs does occasionally, but she has gestational diabetes with this baby due in april, so we have to carefully watch the carbs and sugars. ?

Make your own stock mate ;)

If you're doing fish/seafood paella, make your stock with fish heads, crab legs etc, not that shop bought carry on. Sieve it and use that as the stock, add saffron and spices when you stick it over the rice (which you fried first in olive oil and butter) ?.... Fry your seafood (prawns cockles etc) and add them to the rice, about half way through it absorbing said stock.. Keep stirring it!

That's my mates grandma's recipie ;)
