Stavross 16,097
As far as I know, if he owns the land that they are on then he can do whatever he wants with them, right time of year to take them 1 Quote Link to post

Stavross 16,097
Did they come with the property? Do they stay on his land or have they become a bit feral and spend time in other locations on other land Quote Link to post

Meece 1,958
I've trawled the net and can't find anything about this. The only thing is that now all care has to be tried to deter damage and other methods tried on all species . IF .... someone complained to the rspca they might poke their noses in. If your mate don't want them why don't he see if he can give them to someone. It seems a bit draconian to go out and waste them cos he don't want them. These things mate for life. why does he want rid of them.? 1 Quote Link to post
Stavross 16,097
The only potential problem is if someone stakes a claim to them, because in the eyes of the law they are property, but if they are on his land it shouldn’t be a problem Quote Link to post
Sausagedog 7,381
You've got to be humane so an airpistol to tha arse could land you in bother. I guess however there wont be an audience so.... 2 Quote Link to post

Tyla 3,179
Get them boxed up and sold as breeding pairs. If they are old they will be tough as old boots to eat 2 Quote Link to post
goldfinger 135
Prelove them free and collect, they good early warning with there attitude to intruders, someone might have them for small holding?,they prob be tough as old old boots not fit to eat,as Tyla says. 1 Quote Link to post
SheepChaser 8,089
They are treating you like that cos they think you and your mate are intruders, which I guess to them you are. Just catch them up and sell them, you will get tidy money. Not everything needs to be shot as a solution lol. 5 Quote Link to post

If they are old they will be tough as old boots to eat They probably will be tough as ole boots. I've shot Canada's out of the tail end of a skein and they've been inedible and ended up as dog meat. One of my neighbours is a bloody know it all nuisance but I don't go out and blow him away because I could. I would imagine someone in the hoof & hound division would like them as guard geese. Or even a note on the local neighbourhood community web page. If you splog them you still got to dispose of them. How many are there.? 1 Quote Link to post
