Dig deeper and get him a pair of Le chameau

I think Hunters are overpriced and over rated.  You are basically paying for the name. Quality appears to have suffered since production moved to China; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/fema

Was looking at them but don't think they'd last on the granite tors.

First test Tuesday, on Grubs website at £120, got them from Totally Wellies £85

Cheers, D.

Bloody boots we do get ripped off,I was at work and my feet were like ice cubes,I drove to the nearest place to get anything warm, they only had aigle wellys.wore them digging, concreting, tieing up mesh, the works, bloody shit,I recall they was nigh on 180 bar.wore em last night concreting for 18hrs. Feet was fuking soaked.no ankle support, very flimsy. I'm going try percussion next,my lads got a pair, nice enough and reasonable dollars, also had the ariat dealers.(normally only posh horsey people have them).don't ask how I got them but they are great, may try thier neoprene welly next.

They are quite big for the size I found, most folk wear boot socks or a couple of pairs of socks so plenty of room.

I just got a pair of the steplite xci to try and they seem OK so far, I don't know if they are warmer or its just not been as cold but they seem warmish so far and I've not had to use the heated socks I bought off ebay yet.
