Lads first air rifle

Well been and got my lad his first air rifle he's well impressed done a bit of target practice in the garden so hopefully get out in next few days and he can get some kills in

Very nice, I love the shape of the forend on them, lucky lad! Much easier to use than my first gun. I wish you well with it and good luck on his first trip out with it

Jesus. The lucky get. My first rifle was an absolute shed. In other news, one of the top 5 most accurate rifles I’ve shot was a Hornet. In fact, the manual multi shot jobby just like that one but the carbine. Far from standard mind. It would split a side on playing card at 35 paces 3 out of 5 times.

How times have changed .Mine was an old bsa meteor full of lorry valve springs .Nice rifle that .

Thanks for the comments lads he been saving up had to chuck a bit of money in for him now hes walking round the house with it don't think he as put it down yet

That looks spot on and one that he can grow with. You now of course will not be able to go for a quiet hour shooting as there will be a little follower behind you so enjoy it.

Same as foxdropper my first air rifle was a BSA meteor i was thinking about getting one now for my grandson. Do any of your airgun lads know if the meteor is made in a carbine version.

Me too but I don't think mine had any springs in it at all!

The meteor is a standard barrel with no carbine option and a shorter barrel would make cocking much harder for a youngster.  If I were you, I would buy a Weihrauch HW30 every day of the week, a vastly superior gun.
