Ken's Deputy 4,460
Again, I've just opened the door, called, " Break! You Dogs! ". And three little hairy bodies rushed past me to the back door It's just not right. They're too few. Four's been my norm for so long now. I'm always finding myself trying not to glance round for the other one. I've sworn off getting any more though. Till I start searching the death camps for little, old things. To give a chance. Dunno. Maybe I could just give the local Auschwitz a call? Sorry. Just thinking out loud, again.

Ken's Deputy 4,460
Donkeys need a Farrier. Dogs just need a home. I've never heard of a 'retired' greyhound give up and drop dead for lack of running round an oblong for a minute or so, once every couple of weeks. Had enough game bred dogs that never looked over the scratch. Led perfectly happy lives. No ego, I guess? Struck me though; Christmas is coming! Fukk me, what a dreadfully rich and bounteous time to be thinking of giving some poor old drop off a chance. Half the kunts out there thinking of dropping off the old dog. Getting a fresh, new, snowy white bundle of doomed shit, for the kids to play with, for a bit. And there's kunts asking how to produce More fukking genetically fukked up, physically wrecked dogs. For what? Other than £££'s to the breeder, Tell Me what these fukking dogs bring to the world that just about any scatter bred mutt in the death camps couldn't? Got this fukking lump of a thing here. Hardly Lucero bred. But, I feel better knowing he's got my back, when I'm out there in the dark. Probably (Hopefully!) never bite anyone in his life. Does that mean he'll feel his life was a waste? Unfulfilled? Sleeping on the foot of my bed? Just my thoughts.
WILF 47,429
All the above makes sense in most places, however for me I have to think about bored bull blooded lurcher + sheep, small Cattle and pigs = recipe for disaster
Ken's Deputy 4,460
Out of idle curiosity, Wilf; What were you doing, stalking about a pound in the first place? Not there to buy butter, I'd imagine
