My late grand father used to wear grans tights to work regular in winter he would ride a bike about 5 mile each way.he said they kept him warm..I think lots of men did back then mate..

You see the police bikers sat on roundabouts for hrs mid winter.they got some cracking tops and trousers and even socks that are heated off the bike all the clothing connects to each other.you could probably get the same set up running on a lithium battery nowadays..

Handy for standing or sitting on the bank all day..
