I think he Is a kunt. I'd tell him that to his face. If he'd long since sent Royal Navy gunships to fukk the dinghy's back to France? I might have softened my view. If he'd told the people to calm the fukk down and get over flumonia - as 97%+ do ...? If he told the BBC to cut their shit and Earn a living? I'd probably have raised a glass to him. No. Sorry. Getting one thing half right, practically by default, whilst being so utterly inept at your job in any other respect? To me; That's a kunt. No apologies. 2

If you went to most of these houses that are claiming poverty and asking for free school dinners I reckon their bins would be full of takeaway boxes. Most expensive way to eat and total shite.

That’s our fault as much as anyone, supporting the out of town shopping centres and neglecting our high streets. Electing councillors that institute parking restrictions in town, that are actively anti business in their policy’s. Then we wonder why it’s all paki chicken shops and mobile phone accessories emporiums run by 18,000 pakis and the place is a shit hole ! But we won’t shop local if it costs us an extra tenner ! We are our own worst enemy in many regards ! 1

chartpolski 23,561
Just read that the French blockade is costing the Irish £50 million a day, as their trucks stack up ! They can't send their goods by boat avoiding the UK as goods would perish, and the cost and time also makes it unworkable. The Irish governments and the EU are frantically appealing to Macron to give up trying to punish the UK as it's affecting them as much, if not more than the UK ! So much for EU solidarity . Cheers.

Each country in the EU is a sovereign nation, the EU is advising that they lift the restrictions but each owns sovereignty over its own borders and will do what they feel right, i think if there was a new variant in France there'd be plenty here demanding we close our borders. I recon he will follow the EU's lead when they have some form of testing in situ or there is major outbreaks in France of the new variant, which will happen if it is as easily transmissible as thought. Hopefully the borders will be open in a day or so.

They just established a route round Britain in the last few weeks to Dunkirk mate but it’s a 24 hour sailing and I don’t know if it’s fully operational yet or what the capacity is. However the cost is the same as the Dublin/Holyhead crossing. Coming from the west of Ireland it’s about an 18 hour journey to Dover (including the crossing).........but at the minute, yes I agree, it’s probably putting Irish hauliers in deep shit.
