What kind of instrument?

Recommended Posts

Found this when clearing out my old fella’s house after he died a few years back. Don’t remember him playing it, so don’t know if it’s knackered or not. Always wondered if I could string it and knock any sort of a tune out of it. First step is to find out what it is. Is it a mandolin, a mandolin-banjo, banjo-mandolin, a banjolin?

Lol I've listened to him on you tube a few times. Normally when I've had a few rums, he sounds pretty good then ? ?

he's making a killing on just one string...fair play ? ?
