been out this morning to quote on a mole job on a farm.... whilst driving up the 1 mile drive, i came across this.

no obvious signs it was a trap, but had theses jacks in..... and a few partriges.....?????

 

would they have been placed ijn there.....??? again i looked for a defect, thinking they got in,, but all was secure...???

We had a similar way after catching up our layuing stock up off the game covers we would leave the 10x10 pens up with feed in always guarnteed a brill catch of jack-daws rooks carrion crows. and the odd squirrel thatsd a good laugh trying to get them buggers out.

If it was for keeping your call birds,, why in the middle on a feild,, I would prefer to keep my call birds a little tucked away by my house or atleast ofr the view of the road.

 

 

By the looks of that it is ment to be there catching the jack-daws as they cant resist a look there very inquistive birds if you put one in they are bound to attract more. i may be wrong.

the next thing the gamer arrived...... so i asked....

 

he says its a holding pen, the jacks shouldnot be in there...... to which he released....????

 

asking why.. he couldnt be arsed to chase em around. lol
