But it could of gone the other way mate..nobody can predict the future that's impossible to do..the gov covered that scenario by building the pop up hospitals..

I'm the event that they were needed.thankfully they ain't been needed..

Just reading on the news that hospitals working in "major incident mode" are considering setting up tents outside hospitals to triage patients.

It's also stated patients should be prepared for six hour waiting times.

See why not use these nightingale hospitals for what they were built for?

It seems clear to me that non of the cnuts could run a bath.

1st I said when the nightingales were being set up it was a publicity stunt, there isn't enough staff to run the hospitals we have let alone them.

2nd the idea that only a few hundred "healthy" people have died of Covid is ridiculous. Underlying conditions include, diabetes, asthma, obesity etc, mild heart or lung conditions.... Basically the majority of over 50s. Implying that people in these groups are dispensable is ludicrous.

3rd vaccine safety.

Over a million people have had the vaccine, none died, around 10 had a allergic reaction, all recovered.

So that's 1 in 100k

In comparison 1 in 2000 have an allergic reaction to antibiotics.

4th the NHS has been underfunded for years.

As a comparison the USA spends around double per person yet 27.5 million have no health cover. In pounds per head, that's £2,892 on healthcare for every person in the UK and £7,617 per person in the US.

Basically the NHS does pretty good, there's problems with all big organisations but it does better than most and if we fund it properly it would give us a better service but would still be a fair bit cheaper than the American insurance system.

What other options is there though?

Just because we rely on the NHS doesn't mean it's in a good state.

Maybe the nurses are genuinely up to their eyeballs in it and are doing their best, I'm sure most are.

One thing is for sure, there's many countries out there much worse off.

I think the nightingale hospitals are mainly geared up for breathing problems associated with covid-19.ventilators etc.like a skelton hospital just enough kit for the above.

No x-ray facility's or A&E equipment etc.etc.

A pop up hospital for mainly 1 problem covid.

Having to choose which shower of shite is best isn't really much of a choice though is it.

Of course not.. especially when there are some very clever people business etc in britain who could do a much better job of running the outfit..

Exactly, so ship those with severe breathing problems there and ease the strain of local hospitals. ?

The other option is private healthcare.

I know the NHS isn't perfect, but my family and I have been treated with nothing but care, compassion, and professionalism by the NHS and its staff.

Comparing them with dust bin men, sewer men is ridiculous; I'm not going to die if my bins aren't emptied or my drains blocked.

To portray nurses as lazy drugged up wasters is the complete opposite to the the people I've had far to many dealings with in the recent past.

Cheers.

That's true but when hospitals are considering setting up tents then that tells us they are overrun.

Fcuking great idea setting tents up in the middle of winter.
