Misses has had same day doc appointments, mams been In for dental work , kids been to a and e , lads from work been in for x rays 20 mins after accidents

yep i got to see a dentist a few months back.....

however on the other side of the coin....we couldnt get my old man seen by a doc a few week back ...and hes 84 got COPD...and has had a heart attack in the past...

so ive seen both sides of the coin...

No problems with getting dental treatment here, I got a build up of plaque on my teeth, so I got in touch with my dentist for a scrape and polish,  certainly mr s...y just bring them in and leave them with the receptionist

No mate they don't and they won't care any more or any less than before covid. Tbh I've seen more good in the community since covid with people realising more which neighbours and family may need help and alot more help being given on places like fb

We can't just cherry pick certain things from the media just to suit our agenda.

It doesn't make sense to believe some of it but not other parts.

Personally, I'm losing faith with the biased media; instead of reporting the news, they are more and more commenting on THEIR version.

Now I tend to believe only first hand news, something I've witnessed personally.

I remember the old lurcher saying; "believe nothing you hear, and only half you see ! ".

The system is broke and this Covid is being used to some extent to mask our health care systems failings .

The main reason its hard to get a Dental appointment is because of Covid, the Dentist can only see 25% of their patients. After every patient the surgery has to be deep cleaned with ultra violet light and a air purifying system which sucks the air in through filters and again ultra violet light. This take one hour where as appointment used to average 15 minutes. Also a lot of Dentist getting out of it because most are self employed and seeing only a quarter of the patients they used too. Another thing in the practice were my wife works is the Dentist has to pay for the PPE for NHS patients which is £50 so they are not keen to see NHS patients.

They can have contact with their grandparents, its not hard to pick up a phone FFS.

6 months of not seeing kids the same age will not be overly detrimental, some kids are home schooled their whole school life
