We've done this one before fella. If you are successfully vaccinated then your adaptive immune system will fight off infection in very short order which dramatically reduces the chance of you spreading the virus.

I do consider it civic duty. I'm not sorry if weak minded people consider that oppression. Freedom works both ways.

If your asymptomatic,an have no symptoms you can still spread it? I don't get your reasoning.

So your saying if your vaccinated you reduce the likelihood of catching it an spreading it,but that doesn't make sense mate.

If nine out of ten people who are vaccinated respond well to it their immune system becomes adapted to deal with future encounters (infection) with the virus. They mooch about their lives like normal and may encounter the virus by various means like get sneezed on or touch contaminated surface etc. The virus gets into them but their immune system whacks it in short order. Because it's specially adapted for that virus. They could still transmit the virus as until their immune system has killed it they are contaminated themselves. But those nine successfully vaccinated people don't develop the COVID disease because their immune system stops the virus getting a foothold and replicating. In an unvaccinated person or that hypothetical one in ten that didn't respond well to vaccination their immune system isn't specially adapted to deal with the virus, instead they are reliant on the general part of their immune system called innate immunity to fight off the virus. But because they don't have specially adapted immunity, just a general immune response, the virus will have a much better chance of thriving in these people and so a dramatically increased chance of them spreading it, until of course their body finally kills the virus or they succumb to the disease and die.

It's a bit like police. We have our force of general purpose beat bobbys who are about 24/7 as first responders to criminality right. But you can't expect them to defeat a serious threat without a bit of an ongoing fight. We have specially trained units for those threats and much like immunity, they tend to only be created after an encounter with that new type of threat.

As I understand from various emails ,policies relating to allowing vaccinated persons access to whatever will be left to individual companies and not Gov nor local council .

Im probably going to have to do a complete u turn on the issue to set an example or risk having to change my workforce .

Its a cluster f**k for sure with no guidance from HSE bar you need to consider the impact on the public which isn’t really helpful .

One of the companies we sub to has said it will be mandatory

Another says it’s an individual choice but common sense should apply .Hopefully see some real guidance in very near future from HSE as this is all that seems to matter  in construction .

So will the people that got covid not need the vaccine then,there bodies have fought it off an produced antibodies,so that's them sorted?

There's been millions of cases around the world, most have survived,so theyre immune system works gran an fights it off producing antibodies.

How quick this healthy person fights it off I don't know but would it be quicker than the folks who are vaccinated?

Buyt what about the people who's unvaccinated,get very mild symptoms,1 or 2 days an then gone,that must mean there immune response was quick an killed it?

Does that mean asymptomatic people who have it but don't show any signs have good immune systems?

If it's in the system of a asymptomatic person,why does the body not produce a response?
