They still have an old fashioned thing here and to give it a name I’m going to call it “community shame”.......do something wrong and everyone knows about it and it follows you.

In more extreme cases you are shunned altogether.

We have lived in an “everything’s OK, be what you want to be and do what you want to do” social construct for a long time now.

Nothing mattered, nobody said no, a man could be a woman and a woman a man, lower the age of homosexual consent so that grown men can legally bugger children, smoke the dope, don’t say anything nasty to anyone about their life choices, accept, accept, accept.......what the hell did we think was going to happen ?

Fact is, as even the most easy going, happy go lucky blokes among us know.......everything isn’t OK, sometimes you have to condemn people for their choices.

Proper Society with shared values and bonds can and does very much police itself if you let it, scumbags won’t be tolerated in those circles of shared community.

That’s nonsense if you think about all those kids that got abused in your little ‘proper society’s’ , but I guess that doesn’t fit your rhetoric does it?

You are just cherry picking stuff that bothers you, dope & homosexuality ?, but you’ve got no problem with  certain organised crime within society, but everything’s connected isn’t wilf?

Woman has been arrested for filming an empty Gloucester hospital that’s being portrayed on the news as bursting at the seems, why would that be happening if everyone was telling the truth ?????

I’m not picking stuff that bothers me at all, I don’t have a problem with homosexuals or dope smokers, I know and like plenty of both but I don’t think it should be out in the open promoted as a normal life choice because I don’t think it is.....that’s just my opinion by the way.

When you open the door to the breaking of one moral boundary you open the door to them all......and after a while it normalises that which shouldn’t be normal, like buggery of children.

Big organisations attract corrupt and evil people, always have and always will, they should be rooted out without mercy too but as a rule of thumb what I wrote holds true.

I don’t need to prove it, one walk around south east England will tell anyone that what I say isn’t too far off the mark.

I don’t know what you mean with your organised crime remark ?

Kids were abused for generations by catholics in close knit communities, very conservative communities, not an openly gay or dope smoker in sight, so what went wrong? Some people knew but kept quiet. See it’s not that black & white is it?

The organised crime remark was a generalisation of some of the things I’ve seen you be quite tolerant of over the years in your posts. But if everything’s connected surely you can’t just cherry pick what you are tolerant of within society? That your mantra not mine.

They were and those people should have been subjected to the most brutal retribution.

Any who turned a blind eye have to carry that shame.

Does that excuse the utter social toilet we see unfolding in our towns and cities ?

Does that mean that other stuff would be tolerated, that people wouldn’t be ostracised in small communities for other stuff ?
Of course, imho, the answer is no.

The fact that evil men did evil stuff isn’t a free pass to every kind of f****d up new bit of debauchery or lowering of social standards.

If you are asking do I think a bank robber is worse than a gang of crack dealers or rapists of girls in care then the answer is no, I don’t think they are worse or even on the same level.

Do I think a long firm is worse than an MP getting spit roasted by 2 young Rumanian lads while off his tree on Charlie, then no I don’t.

Do I think men of violence committing violence on other men of violence is as bad as a 14 year old getting stabbed for his mobile or a 40 year old homosexual buggering a 16 year old homosexual then no, I don’t.

Two on the things I mention are perfectly legal as it stands by the way !

The point is wilf it happened. In a society, that on the surface by your reckoning it shouldn’t of.

Of course there are many levels of crime that can be ordered by severity, I totally agree that all crimes aren’t equal. But if we are talking about tolerance of certain behaviour within our society who sets the bar?
Again I’m just responding to your assertions, not mine, that everything is connected & if we tolerate one thing in society it opens the gate to another.

Fair comment, but what I say still holds true because I see it in action every day.

Again, fair comment but at present we are not “setting the bar”, we are lowering it more and more and more.

We can sit here and attempt to be clever all day mate, bottom line is people in towns and cities across the U.K. are less safe now.

Its more morally bankrupt now than previously.

That can’t be denied.

No one will explain it or show a valid reason why, but as time goes by it’s getting harder to understand why people are being lied to on such an industrial scale and happily swallowing what they are being told without question, all hospitals in the uk should be at bursting point at this time of year under normal circumstances with a maximum spare capacity of around 10%, the rows upon rows of parked ambulances being portrayed as evidence are in fact the complete opposite and show that they are in effect sitting  idle but there is no one questioning anything and if you do, your just branded a conspiracy theorist, which is just another means of stifling any conversation sadly ✌️✌️

There was a doctor on LBC radio from Gloucester yesterday talking about this, reckons the video was taken of the corridors around the wards and these were empty because of isolation he said if the video would have shown the wards they were packed. I presume the arrest was made because it was a isolation and she shouldn't have been near the ward but that was not mentioned. Did make a valid point that no film crews are allowed in as it wouldn't be fair on the families of the patients who are not allowed access.

IMO he didn't sound to convincing and the usual soundbites were spewed out.
