Agreed but how many people on here, and elsewhere have diagnosed themselves based on the internet?

I understand that people make mistakes but I'll trust my doctor, over a YouTube expert, every single time. Would you take your second opinion to the internet if it was something potentially life changing?

I often sit in my doctors while they google my problems so what’s the difference, a GP is the same as a general builder, knows a little bit about a lot but not good enough to specialise in one subject, or jack of all trades master of none as they say, is it really so hard to believe I,m not at all interested in anybody else’s opinion from the internet the prime minister or my gp or the bloke up the road, I have been told there is a virus wiping out the nation and I live in a coved hotspot, my mum is in a nursing home which I,m being told are being wiped out by it yet less people have died in there than before the virus, I no loads that have had it not one person bad enough to need medical help so why would I want to pump shit in my body that’s being sold by the same people telling me there is a killer virus outside that I still have not seen any evidence of what so ever, old people die every winter we just don’t go round counting and highlighting it to create a wave of fear and that is the only difference I can see from previous years, call me mad or insane but it’s my own choice based on what I have personally seen and I should always be allowed to make it without being branded a looney, all you are doing is pushing the governments agenda by mocking people for wanting to make there own choices, none of us will no who was right or wrong for years to come, but if I,m wrong I can always get it later if your wrong you can never remove it ??

Again mate that is my choice, I don’t fear death, and the further along this journey I travel the closer death gets, I have a friend here with me now that has not long recovered from terminal cancer with a treatment that was untested, he had to sign his life away to be allowed to have it, but he,s alive and glad he did it which I fully understand, but for someone that considers themselves strong and healthy to basically allow a drug that’s had one tenth of the testing it should have to be pumped into them on the say so of people you would normally not trust as far as you could throw is just madness, but as long as it’s your choice to have it and mine to refuse it without ridicule then alls good, but it’s not just the drug that’s now being pushed on us it’s the narrative of those that have been convinced, it’s a form of controll that’s already being adopted to force immigration on people by branding them racists if they disagree, no different from branding people as looneys for disagreeing with there latest shite, it’s a tactic developed by the nazis to convince the German public they were under attack and needed to act before it’s to late,( he never started ww2 on his own, but used propaganda to get the support of the German people) funny we are still falling for it almost 100 years on  ??

I've told you before about invoking Godwins Law ! ? !

You're erudite enough in your debating skills to avoid it ! ? !

Just joking, mate.

Cheers.

I have over the years and to great success concerning muscle injuries, back issues and nutrition. The internet is excellent for research when you find a reliable source which takes time, much like finding a good GP.

From my experience with GP's, I would say their great if your looking for drugs and medicine as your answer and your looking for someone to make you feel better, but if your looking for sound health and nutrition advice with the goal of improving your health for years to come, then a GP is not the best option.

I did think that, but it’s just so appropriate, I know it’s a little bit boring but if you look at some of the conversations between hitler and his generals all documented in the Nuremberg trials of how they got the backing of the German public to invade Europe, it is exactly the same tricks being used on people today and the people are still falling for it, in a nutshell when hitler asked his generals how they were going to convince the German public, the reply was very simple, you invent a common enemy for everyone to fear, then you brand anyone that disagrees with you as an unpatriotic traitor, then hey presto you do what you want with the full backing of your people around you,all sounds very familiar but by convincing everyone hitler was just a madman no one bothers to find out the truths also very familiar, it’s like watching a merry go round of people to stupid to just stop and get off ?

My friend actually had a blazing row with his gp because he sorted out his own diabetes through diet and exercise rather than the tablets for life route the doctor put him on, ??

I've literally just watched a documentary on Herman Goering and the Nuremberg Trials.

I'm only joking with you about Godwins Law, but when you are taught debating skills, bringing Hitler into an argument usually means you have lost the upper hand !

Of course, there are instances when it can be relevant ?

Cheers.

I had high blood pressure a few years back, and was fitted with portable monitor for 48 hrs.

My, then, GP, who has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen, said " have you considered buying your own monitor and checking your own blood pressure ?" .

I replied " have you ever considered servicing or flying the 747 aircraft you go on holiday in ? "

He replied " no, why do you ask that ?"

I replied " you do your job, I'll do mine ! "

He wasn't to happy !!

Cheers.
