I was speaking generally mate. I'd rather not spar with folks but it was fun with you tbf because i could tell you were taking it in good faith. Some folks just ask for me to be a c**t with them though. Which is a shame because then anyone that reads what a write think I would treat their views the same.

? damn, you got me again.

Ok, I take back what I said, about likening you to my brother. He really can be an obnoxious prick! Lol ??

I mean I try really hard to be too with people who need it. Ha

Tbf I shouldn't because it doesn't do debate any good at all. People become more and more entrenched and attached to their views because their pride has been challenged. Chris Jones on here is an absolute operator in this respect! It's a pleasure to debate with people like him.

Usually no one really changes their minds at the time but if things are kept respectful then often you'll mull over what was said and if warranted change your views because it doesnt damage your pride. That's growth, and ultimately what I want. I've genuinely learnt a ton on here even from some of the more nasty debates.

Yep, I totally get all that. But with me, I'll normally only debate on certain subjects that I actually have experience and knowledge of.

For example, even though I've 'contributed' on this thread and to your posts, I wouldn't really 'debate' statistics etc with you, because I really am not that interested in science of any sort, and you'd 'tie me in knots' with it all. Lol ?

And all this debating on here and the financial burden to nearly every country and the people who have died as a result from this virus..

For something you can't see with the naked eye.it has had some serious clout around the globe.

I sort of agree, I mean how often do you see me telling folks about football or boxing. Yeah I'm half interested in what's going on, I've played and kickboxed and even had season tickets, but do I f**k know shit really. Im well aware of my limits there.

Only thing I'd add though is I think anyone's views should be heard and accepted. I mean who's to say the professor or whatever isn't wrong? There's a name for winning an argument based purely on the credibility of the person, ad hominem. Its a well known fallacy.

One thing I've gathered from this debate is that a good few lads that run salukis and their crosses are braindead numbskull halfwits that spend way to much time on Facebook. FACT.

if you spoke to people was out and about you’d see for yourself

instead a stuck in a bubble on internet and social media  repeating what you have been fed  lol

like everyone saying look at America 250000 dead to COVID when in reality it’s a massive country and more people each year die of obesity then have corvid
