See the post above mate. My mrs is expecting our new baby in april. She won't be having the covid vaccine.

It's been tested on 20000 people, out of close to 68000000. That's just under 0.03 percent of the uk population. I consider that simply not a good enough, scientific conclusion.

i understand your concerns  :good:

Well my old mum is 89 and she has said she is having it.

She has a heart condition and we ain’t seen her for 10 months !
At least we can travel to see her and not worry we are going to kill her.

Statistics say covid sits at 24 in the what's going to kill you charts.

No1 position is heart desease

Don’t doubt that for a second mate but there’s not point in adding insult to injury and finishing the old girl off. ?

I'll likely be one who gets vaccinated eventually but any f***ing card will go straight in the bin. At this point I don't believe it'll impact anything other than border control.

surely having an id card is only the same as carrying a driving licence

Yeah, I guess. I'm just not sure I'm comfortable with a free country allowing it's citizens to be discriminated on based on their healthcare choices. I'd say I consider that one of our rights but I'm not totally firm on that yet. :hmm:

I simply don't want to support that way of thinking by towing the line because it suits me.

No totally agree mate. I don't and never have extended the full rights and freedoms of citizenship to foreigners. I totally agree that visitors are held to different standards than citizens and if they have an issue with that then they are free to not enter our country.

There are times and circumstances which warrant treating visitors the same as citizens of course but there are times not to. Like for instance free healthcare.
