Welsh pubs close at 6pm and can't sell alcohol.

If I owned a pub today especially a rural pub it would be open from 7am and sell everything from tampax to a full cooked English or welshbreakfast, there is no point owning and living on a business premises and being closed for most of the time, another massive waste of time I think are garages, there is millions of quids worth of kit sat in expensive premises open for the  8hrs a day people need there cars, what a load of bollax, there is a fortune awaiting the man that opens a night garage and provides a courtesy car, so you can drop of the motor on your way home from work and pick it up on your way back in the morning fixed or mot,d, things are changing and to survive you have to change to

Only the one,  still have to drive back, not many good walks starting in Avonmouth but  maybe when I,m on the boat and can go out on foot I might get a few onboard and sort out a few of those bigfoots as well, recon half a dozen pints of scrumps I,ll think I can take him

Thick as feck mate but when it comes to making cash I,m all over it, if I had any ambition in life I could have been a millionaire Rodders, but every time I get a raise I just go and enjoy life until it’s gone and I need more, have spent the last 2 months learning about solar energy and how it all works, have tracked down suppliers of all I need and when I,m on my boat will be fitting a 500watt system which in turn will be a shining advert on my roof and open up a new string to my bow fitting solar to boats, I,m also going to start a dog walking business for people that live on boats but are at work all day as well as a boat cleaning business for the same people and ran by the misses, life’s full of opportunities but we are to busy working for the man to see or act on them

Mrs was offered the chance to run one for Miller and Carter... Could of lived on the premises and rented out our house.... So f***ing glad that we didntMrs been left with 8 hrs a week, that's if they can open... She's making more money selling her balloon stacks and sweet boxes these days

Local family to me have 5 vans on the drive all sign wrote up .

One of the farms I walk over looking for sign, is a beautiful place just to go and I spend absolutely hours walking the woods, I often bump into a young lady that walks round a small circuit of the wood maybe 5k with 5 dogs her walk is over far quicker than mine and she has earned £75 quid a walk, that would be more than enough for the life I am planning to live, and if the solar stuff gets off the ground as well it will be spreading my eggs to a few baskets, it’s all about having a plan b and an exit strategy

we used to have two pubs in our village and both of them have closed.  Overall this has been a blooming good thing.  No more lads pissing in the hedge. No more collecting up tin cans, bottles, crisp packets used condoms tampons, knickers and all sorts of stuff that's been chucked on our land by people walking past. No more arseholes  in the pub car park doing burn outs wheelies and just generally driving to kill through the village at 2am.  No more week end promotional ho downs  with appaling catawaling attempts at some country and western classic and BBQs with pawls of smoke as if someone was burning garden waste, waste oil and scrap tyres. No more street fights and drunks shouting and singing flat out at midnight and plus, and that's the women.!!!  No more cars being keyed  by kids hanging about and broken into by the druggies. And this is a rural village pub. All in all bloddy marvellous....  except for a group of local do gooders and community grouper have decided to try and buy the place and get it up and running again. A mixture of Covid, Brexit and the General decline of pub culture and money burning holes in pockets along with the current owner using it as a tax loss appears to have put the kibosh on their plans.  It could also be down to me erecting a totum pole in the back garden and dancing and chanting curses round it. The sooner the bulldozers move in and flatten the place and they build some big nice quiet houses on the site the better.

our village pub is community owned and so is the shop and they are the heart of the local community like they always were and because of that people respect it and if they don't they wouldn't be welcome

And now you have left yourself with nothing to talk about for the rest of your days, when it shuts buy it for peanuts and open up as a community pub/shop for nice folk, life’s not that bad and a lot of young people are just bored and alienated by miserable old b*****ds that forgot what being young was like,

It sounds like you didn't have much luck obtaining a smelly finger or 2 behind the pub as a teenager.
